Apologies for not being around much just now; en route to the Northern Spanking Shoot, I had a rather nasty motorway crash involving a left-hand-drive lorry and the Amy Car of Doom.
The ACoD lost, bizarrely enough, after being slammed across two lanes of the M1 into the central reservation. Major woe followed for the rest of the day. Amusingly, my first text to Lucy, about 30 minutes after it happened, read "Had crash on M1. Polish Lorry driver hit me and I went into central res. Will let you know asap how I'm getting to you. May involve trains. x"
Oddly enough, my sister's primary concern was not that I was going to be late for the shoot...
After a rather fraught 7 hours, I was back in London. Details of how this was achieved should probably not be shared too widely. Shock is a grand little invention.
Another 5 hours passed, and I was out of hospital, with a confirmed unbroken neck, lots and lots of excellent drugs, and two Whiplash guidebooks. FNARR.
I still went to the shoot though, albeit a day late. I'm not missing out on 4 new bottoms to play with.
We had an awful lot of fun, and some fabulous food on our post-shoot evenings out. Six of us may now be banned from an entire county in the UK, for crimes against fashion and/or distressing farmers, but we got some extremely awesome new material, which I may share with you at a later date.
Right. Back to sifting through insurance things and doing hourly neck exercises.
The utter glamour of being a top spanking model. Sheesh... ;)
(I incidentally apologise to those of you who have added me on either MySpace or Facebook. I have to juggle things like this a bit, and they do fall to the wayside a little. You're not missing much, honest - you probably get a lot more information from here!)

VERY glad the crash was no worse. Brings up the morbid question of how the industry would handle something actually tragic, and the hopes we never have to find out.
So glad that you were not more seriously hurt in this incident.

You are a lucky girl Amy, glad to hear you survived with minimal injuries.
Regards and best wishes.
Sorry to hear about your crash my lovely, hope you're back to full form soon :o)
Er....any significance in the driver being Polish....?
The Guv
Guv - I'm not being racist, no. ;)
Thankyou all for your wishes. xx
So glad to hear you're ok Amy! Has the ACoD survived? Is this the same ACoD you once told me had a ship's anchor for brakes and a tiller-operated steering system?
ACoD is write-off, unsurprisingly, MysteryDave. x
Amy, really sorry to hear about your accident, and all the best for a speedy and complete recovery.
I don't post much, but I've been following your blog for a while now. I'm also a member, and big fan of NSI (who isn't ?!) - and have enjoyed several of your films.
Shocked to hear of your awful accident - must have been really scary. Thankful you escaped with relatively minor injuries 'though and wishing you a speedy return to your normal cheeky self.
Holy smokes. I'm so sorry about the crash...there is very little that is scarier that a car wreck!
I am in awe of you shooting with whiplash, I've had it before and its no joke. I should hope the drugs were good!
I am going to go shoot with Lucy and Paul this weekend and am suer excited. I've been watching all the films like the little pervert I am and you just crack me up.
Oh my god! Thank goodness that you are ok. Its terrible to be involved in a car crash and I hope that you can get back into a car and drive again soon. I am so pleased that there is a lot of support for you and I hope that you are back being spanked and spanking real soon. You are a national spanking treasure and a real beauty to have lost you would have been a tragedy. Take care and lots of love - Nomi and Jake
Amy did indeed arrive at our shoot, somewhat damaged, with two stout books about whiplash stuffed into the neck of her jumper - I don't think she had read them!
This was despite desperate entreaties for her not to come, our thinking being that the bending which is kind of essential to what we do might not be very good for her injured neck and possibly back!
As ever, Amy was fabulous and would hear of no special treatment - she got some anyway courtesy of the four lovely new bottoms she got to spank. We did eat particularly well and have now received formal notice from the Metropolitan County of West Yorkshire that they would rather we did not return...
Thank you Amy, we love you!
What about if we change the decade of dress, perhaps? Do you think they'd let us back in then?
x
Egads, that sounds awful! The crash, I mean, not the spankings.
I'm glad you suffered no serious injury!
hmmmm.....hope you feeling better now. I am not sure I want to return so I will not miss it, but I thin it was a little unfair. My skirt was the height of class!
Oh Amy! That sounds like a terrible crash. I hope you are recovering well. Take extra special care of yourself. :)
Glad you're OK, Amy. I can't imagine a more appropriate recipient of a book about whiplash. ;-)
